Community Cafés at the heart of what Eat Well stands for. Working in partnership with a local venue – a church hall, a community centre or somewhere like Glossop Labour Club – a team of volunteers prepare, cook and serve delicious meals for anyone who wants to join us to eat them.
People eat alongside their neighbours, who they may never have met, and the atmosphere is friendly and supportive and as community cafés are also about fighting food hunger there is no charge but if people do make donations they go straight to providing future social eating events.
